In order to promote the smart medical products of Taiwan on COVID-19 prevention, on June 18th webinar series by the topic of “Smart Products and Technology for COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention”, CCH invited imedtac Co., Ltd., Markstein Sichtec Medical Corp, and Iron Force Industrial CO., LTD. to join and share how their products being applied to protect medical personnel from getting infected in the most common scenarios from quarantine area, operation theaters and wards in the COVID-19 outbreak period.

Brief introduction of Trachway by Markstein Sichtec Medical Corp
Mr. Beren Hsieh, the Business Development Manager of imedtac presented the application in quarantine area and isolation rooms of Telemedical Cart、Automated Dispensing Cabinet and e-Paper. With the Gesture Recognition, the Telemedical Cart can reduce the possibility of getting infection and still provide clear images for medical personnel. Trachway, the Video Intubation Light Stylet from Markstein Sichtec, can make operations more efficiency. “By images on portable monitor, anesthesiologist could be protected by the Protective Box and doing the intubation as usual or even for suspected cases of COVID-19.” Said by Mr. Josh Chen, Sales Representative of Markstein Sichtec. Modular Isolation Room (MIR) is presented by the third speaker, Mr. Benjamin Lee, who is the Associate Director of Iron Force. Because it can be easily assembled and disassembled and prevent contaminated air from leaking out, M.I.R. is suitable for countries have the demand of quarantine mass suspected cases especially when the medical resources are insufficient.
After the presentation of three speakers, plenty of opinions and feedback from participants. Dr. Loysa G. Orense, Medical Director of Mondial Medical Technologies, Philippine, said that her hospital had experienced the products from Markstein Sichtec and she was very confidence with the M.I.T. products. Moreover, she even would like to seeking the agency agreement for distributing the M.I.R. of Iron Force in Philippine. Mr. Nino Yu, Sales Manager of International Business Department, Unison Healthcare, not only give the feedback to speaker but also invited these companies working together with Unison Healthcare to promote the excellent smart healthcare products of Taiwan especially into the ASEAN countries. “Actually, the development of smart healthcare in Malaysia is still far behind. It would be a great opportunity if Taiwan’s smart healthcare products could be distributed in Malaysia for combating COVID-19 pandemic” said by Ms. Syakella, Director of Investment Division, Malaysian Friendship and Trade Centre in Taipei.
Around 120 participants from medical industries, public and private health sectors including Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and Malaysia were invited to join.
